Queer Connections: Seaweed Pressing

Art and science blend in this hands-on activity. Special guest Emily will teach us about seaweed pressing and seaweed species, then we get to press the fronds to make a piece of art. All materials provided. Expect some contact with water and seaweed, but it's not a messy process. See you there!

About the event
Queer Connections is a monthly group dedicated to nurturing and creating queer connections. We have facilitated activities like making art, playing games, discussing literature, and watching movies, all so you can make new friends and have fun! No experience or skill required. We always kick off each session with introductions and an icebreaker. Open to LGBTQIA+ people ages 18 and up. We are happy to provide light refreshments for your enjoyment. We kindly ask that you do not bring any outside alcohol or substances.
