Clothing Swap & Food Drive

Come swap out your summer clothes with new pieces and help reduce clothing waste! All leftover clothing donations will be collected by Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI, and we will be collecting canned food, non-perishables, and personal care products for the Newport MLK Center!

About the event
We ask that you please clean your clothing before donating. Do not bring any clothing that is in bad condition (broken zippers, unintentional rips, or stains). We also ask that you do not bring used underwear or swimwear. This drive is limited to clothing, food, and other household/personal products listed in the MLK's Food Drive guide (see below). We will not accept items outside of this list. If you cannot attend the swap but would still like to donate clothing or food, send an email to events@newportprideri to schedule a time to drop them off.
