The Queer Parents Network Picnic

The Queer Parents Network is a welcoming community for local families with LGBTQ+ parents. Our goal is to create intentional opportunities for connection, friendship, and mutual support; both for queer parents and for the children growing up in queer-led families. Our goal is to build a space where families can share experiences, celebrate milestones, and foster a sense of belonging.

This will be a picnic-style event. Feel free to bring something to share, but no pressure. Kids of all ages are welcome! We will have some lawn games, and there is a playground for the kids. We will communicate the RSVP list before the event so folks can have an idea of the number of people.

The group will be led, in part, by Audrey Lamou and Virginia McKinley Buckles. Come and have some fun with us before school starts.
