About the event
Kick off Pride Month with our official Pride Flag Ceremony! Join community leaders, activists, and allies as we raise the Pride flag high and proud over Newport. Flag holders will meet at Equality Park at 5 PM and march to City Hall. Then, there will be speeches and poetry from community members and a performance by Quorus, Newport's Queer Chorus! Newport Pride will also be receiving a proclamation from the Newport City Mayor stating that June will be recognized as Pride Month in the City of Newport!
After the flag-raising, join us at Firm MD (130 Touro St) from 6-7 PM for an after-party fundraiser! We hope to see you there.
