Join us at Newport City Hall for our annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony! This event includes a sidewalk parade to Newport City Hall, learning about the various pride flags and their importance, a Pride Month proclamation from the mayor of Newport, speeches, and a performance from Newport's Quorus!

About the event
Our annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony is our kick-off to Pride Month. We will meet up at Equality Park with our pride flags at 5 PM to march to Newport City Hall on the sidewalk. At 5:30 PM on the steps of City Hall, you will learn about the various pride flags and their importance from community member Rex LeBeau. Along with this will be speeches from other community members, a Pride Month proclamation from the mayor of Newport, and a performance from Newport Sings Quorus (queer chorus). We can't wait to see you there!
