Join us at Newport City Hall for our annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony! This event includes a sidewalk parade to Newport City Hall, learning about the various pride flags and their importance, a Pride Month proclamation from Mayor Charlie Holder, a performance from Newport's Quorus, and speeches!

About the event
Our annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony is our kick-off to Pride Month. We will meet up at Equality Park with our pride flags at 5 PM to march to Newport City Hall on the sidewalk. Lineup is at 5:15, walking starts at 5:20. At 5:30 PM on the steps of City Hall, you will learn about the various pride flags and their importance from community member Rex LeBeau. Along with this will be a Pride Month proclamation from Mayor Charlie Holder, a performance from Newport Sings Quorus (queer chorus), and speeches from community members. We can't wait to see you there!
