Parking
Parking is available on the street outside the Center or in the lot directly behind the building. To access the lot, pass the Pride Center and turn right onto Allan Ct, then take the first right into the lot. Please note that the lot in the far back is private.
Accessibility
We want to make sure your visit to the Pride Center is as smooth and comfortable as possible. Our space currently features a 35-inch-wide doorway, but please note that there is a small step up from the sidewalk, with no ramp available at this time. Additionally, our restroom is on the smaller side and may not be fully accessible for all mobility needs. Policies
Our facility is committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Disrespectful, discriminatory, violent, racist, homophobic, transphobic, or harassing behavior toward staff or guests will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask individuals engaging in such conduct to leave and to restrict their future access. Additionally, our center is a substance-free space. The use or possession of recreational drugs is strictly prohibited; anyone found in violation may also have their access restricted. Thank you for helping us ensure the Pride Center remains a safe and supportive space for everyone.
Event Hosting
Looking for a welcoming space to host your next event? The Newport Pride Center would love to host you! Our center offers a comfortable and versatile setup equipped with tables and chairs, cozy couch seating, a TV with connection hookups, a snack table, a mini-fridge, and restroom access. To prevent disruptions to our community drop-in hours, which run Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, private events are scheduled exclusively before or after these times. Please note that our rental fee strictly covers the cost of having a staff member on-site to open, support, and close the facility for your group.
