Our Mission

We support and work with the LGBTQ+ community and its allies in the Newport, RI area. We advocate for equality and more inclusive policies, safe and welcoming spaces, provide resources and education to expand community understanding, support diverse LGBTQ+ identities and history, and produce events for people to connect, learn, and celebrate.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see Newport where LGBTQ+ residents, as well as visitors, feel completely safe, welcomed, and included. Where LGBTQ+ people of all ages—from the youth in our schools to our seniors—feel empowered and supported to be fully themselves and have greater opportunities for connection and support.
