What’s Happening:
Pom Pom Making and Looms: Immerse yourself in the world of the fiber arts. Inspired by artist Bobby Anspach’s use of pom poms in his work, this workshop will be led in partnership with Out of the Box Studio & Gallery and Downtown Designs Gallery & Studio! Artists can also utilize looms to create a personalized, unique small textile work!
Joy is Resistance Button and Flag Making Join us in partnership with Newport Pride to make buttons and flags inspired by the theme of this year’s Pride parade in Newport – “Joy is Resistance”. Whether you’re a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, an ally, or just love the theme as much as we do, create something to take home with you or bring to the parade the following week (June 28th)!
